Trust is a one-of-one pilothouse designed by W.I.B Crealock (who, during his prolific career also designed the Pacific Seacraft 40, a sister to Trust). She was the fifth and final hull from a bespoke boat-maker and she was finished in Alameda in 2000. She is bluewater-ready and she’s itching for adventure.

Projects

When we took over ownership of Trust, as only her second owner, she didn’t need too much. But we have dug deep into her hull to ensure that she continues to be reliable at sea. When she was on the hard over the winter of 2022, she got a full bottom refresh including pain, thru-hull inspection, PSS shaft seal refit, prop polish and treated with PropSpeed. Additionally, we updated her electronics, resealed the teak decks (with plenty of teak for another few decades of routine maintenance), and replaced the standing rigging. There’s a lot more, but here is a look at the process of caring for this amazing vessel ❤️
